I recently finished an adorable twirly skirt for MissyMiss. The pattern is called "The Girly Skirt" and it is by Pink Fig Patterns.
I don't do much in the way of garments, but was able to easily follow the pattern and the skirt turned out really cute. I matched it up with a red tee from Wal-Mart and it made for one cute outfit.
Here she is modeling it. Bubby insisted on being in the pictures too. The funniest part is that I later noticed that he was wearing my mom's fuzzy blue slippers! I can't wait to pull out these pictures when he is 16. Between this one and the one of him wearing one of MissyMiss's nightgowns, tap shoes and an Easter bonnet...I am all set. :)

Cute skirt! You should have plenty of blackmail material. :)
Nicely done on the skirt :)
Bubby's prom date will enjoy those pics!
My youngest STILL loves twirly skirts at 11! She would love the monkeys too!
You're going to be one of those moms, arent' you? I keep warning my kids about how I will embaress them when they are older. I loved twirly skirts when I was Missy Miss' age, too.
The pictures are adorable, and the skirt turned out great! I'd really like to try my hand at garments, but I just can't seem to find the time. Was this skirt a quick creation? I think that's why I find clothing intimidating. I'm afraid that it will require more time than what I have!
Adorable! I wish I had young nieces to sew for-alas, all nephews and one niece who is beyond the twirly skirt stage. And btw-my husbands family is from Washington state, and I don't think Washington calls smores yum yums-I think it's a weird family thing..
Wow! You made that? You are so talented!
Love the pics...they look so adorable.
