I love you guys!

First of all, thank you so very much to everyone who commented on my last blog post. I appreciate the advice and encouragement so very much...you guys rock!!

I did 12 miles on Saturday and felt great! That will be my longest run before the half on May 2. My plan for this weekend is 8 miles.

I am still undecided as to whether or not to wear the fuel belt. If it is going to be hot, I will, since I like Gatorade during runs on hot days. If it is not hot, I plan to just wear a Nathan gel-holder belt I just got. It is big enough to hold my fruit flats and keys.

I am now up to 85 followers...wow! Judging by my hit counter there are a lot more people visiting my blog than there are people who leave comments. I would love it if anyone reading this post could leave me a quick comment with something interesting about yourself...what state do you live in? Are you a runner?? What is your favorite color? Anything! Especially if you have a blog...I would love to know so I can visit!

Hi Sarah - I am a new follower, a runner and a mom to a 19-month-old little boy. I am currently also training for a half marathon, this will be my 4th one. There is nothing better than the feeling that you get when you cross that finish line! You're gonna love it! Good luck!

I am always checking this blog. I really enjoy it. As you know, I am a wannabe runner from Long Island. - - -So you've got a belt especially for fruit bars and keys? - ! You rock!

I've enjoyed reading about your training. And, I'll admit it, the whole christmas cookie thing was great, too!

I stumbled upon your blog and look forward to new entries almost daily...I am a runner that is also running my first 1/2 but on May 1..getting that nervous feeling in my stomach and wondering why I even signed up. It will all come together when the starting gun fires the day of the race..until then...

Hmmmm...something interesting. Well, you already know that I mess myself when I run, or I mess a tree or a bush. Your half is only a week away, right??? You're going to do great.

Hi! Best of luck to you! I am not a runner, but wouldn't mind starting just to get back into shape! I am a stay at home mommy with a small online business, and I just happened upon your blog this evening, and found it very interesting! I am originally from Arizona, but am currently in New Mexico, where my husband is stationed.

It sounds like your training is going well for your upcoming half! I don't like to wear the hydration belts -

Thanks for stopping by my blog. The 5K training is pretty doable for my girls but we will take a little longer than the 12 week plan. They do whine a little more than I'd like! But they still keep running so I guess that is good!

I live in Indiana!

GOOD LUCK this weekend! Can't wait to hear about it.

Hi - Brian from SC, father of a 17mo old and addicted to running...Good luck with your half! About the fuel belt - I always carry a hand-held water bottle, even for a 5k, after I was once slightly dehydrated at the start of a particularly hot 5k race. I still sometimes stop and grab water from an aid station to make sure I have something left in the bottle those last 2-3 miles. Makes me feel a little stronger at the finish!

Runner! I live in Vancouver, BC. My favourite colour is blue, but somehow most of my running gear is purple.

Have fun on Sunday - I ran my first 1/2 in February and the feeling of crossing the finish line definitely makes up for any of the rest of the race. :)
