It was a BLAST!! The hotel we stayed in was only a few blocks from American Girl and Times Square. We went shopping at American Girl and also had afternoon tea there, which was delicious and such fun! We also had her doll's hair done and ears pierced while we were then.
We did a lot of walking around. My husband and I grew up in NYC and Long Island, but my kids have only lived out here in the country. They love visiting NYC. Our hotel had a revolving door, which completely entertained the kids.
Here are some pics from out trip!
I completely LOVE cupcakes. I have had cupcakes from Crumbs once before and they were delicious! I was thrilled to learn our hotel was only a few doors down from a Crumbs. We got a mini-cupcake sampler, which was a great way to try a lot of the flavors.
Here is MissyMiss and her doll at tea. They brought a little doll chair to the table and her doll even got her own cup and saucer. Bubby found a little boy doll that we got for him, which he calls "American Girl boy doll".

Sounds like an awesome birthday! Happy birthday to your 7 year old.
I love to see adventures with girls 'cause I have two boys and I can't imagine a trip to American Girl in my future LOL.
Love this! I have heard great things about the American Girl place. Unfortunately, boys are only interested in rocks, dirt, and dinosaurs!
Happy Birthday!!
cuuute! Those cupcakes look awesome...
I can't wait until I get to do stuff like that with my girls!!
awww how fun! I keep telling my husband that I want to live in NYC! I am sure he would make a lot of money for what he does, however I know it cost a lot to live there! I may just have to visit a lot so it feels like I live there! LOL
What a blast. We're thinking about taking our kids to NYC this summer. I cannnot miss that Crumbs place!! Happy birthday to your daughter. What a fun age.
Wish I had a 7th B-day like that, how fun. Happy B-day (late) Missy Miss.

My girls would LOVE to have such a weekend! They are both saving for an American Girl doll. They have the bitty baby. Love your daughters matching outfit with her doll! So cute!
She is cute! Sounds like she had a fabulous birthday!
My son turned 9 last weekend, Why do they have to grow up so fast??
Happy Birthday to your daughter.
I like the picture of her up the escalator with her doll in her arm. :)
Here's wishing that she will grow up strong, healthy and happy.
Happy Birthday to your little girl! What a fun, special way to celebrate.
How sweet...the perfect birthday for a 7 year old girl :)
When I was younger my mom took me to the same American Girl place and I loved it! That's awesome that she's in to that type of stuff and had such a great birthday! I will forever remember that day my mom and I went there :)

Happt birthday to Missy Miss! That sounds like awesome family time.
Aww-how cute! And I just noticed, your daughter and her doll have matching outfits-adorable!
What a lovely way to celebrate her birthday. I'm sure she'll always remember this day.
what a great trip! We went to the AG Place in Chicago a few times. It was so hard this week to help my daughter pack up her dolls to ready them for the move to her new appartment after her wedding in 2 weeks. It is so bitter sweet to see them grow up! Savor every moment.
