Week 3 weigh-in

I must sadly report that I only lost .1 pound this week. (No...not 1 pound... .1, as in 1/10th of a pound) Ugh!!!! I have actually been so good this week. I ran or biked 6 out of 7 days and mall walked twice. I have been so careful with my eating too!

Oh well....I will have to just move on and hope for much better this week. Since I lost 5 pounds the first 2 weeks, I can still realistically reach my goal.

But...the good news is that I went shopping and was able to buy a pair of jeans one size smaller than usual...so something is working!!

I have been making healthy dinners...big salad, veggie chili, egg whites, etc. I have fallen in love with 100 calorie fudgsicles...they are awesome! They are nice and chocolaty and satisfy my sweet tooth for just 100 calories. They rock!

So...what is your favorite low calorie snack??

You must be gaining a lot of muscle! My favorite 100 calorie snack are the Cheetos, the only problem is that I can't stop with one bag! Maybe I will try the fudgecicles! Keep it up!

Morning Sarah,

She is wearing a kitchen towel. I didn't think she would keep it on.

Keep up the good work, I have heard that you can loose lots at first and then it slows down so don't be discouraged. You are my hero.

Hey -0.1 is better still than +.01 right? And kudos on the smaller pants...I, too, bought pants this week that were a size smaller then before...LOL...but I lost the weight awhile ago, just to lazy to go get new clothes!! Keep up the good work!

At least you are still going in the right direction - keep up the good work! I know it's not low-cal, but I love chocolate milk - it is as good as chocolate ice cream to me. I drink it as my post-run drink after long runs and speed/tempo workouts.

I take bio identical hormones and have lost all my abnormal cravings to eat since starting on this hormone cream from a private hormone specialist in London.
The only sweet thing i have regularly is my sports beans! I find i rarely need one when i am not exercising, and i do have occasional sweet things but giving up chocolate has really helped as well!!

Every little bit counts. You will get there I know you will. As for my favorite low cal snack, well I am a little weird in that department. I love to much on radishes, and you can eat a ton of them 1 cup is 19 cals. :) Yeah like I said I am weird :P

I think the fact that you bought smaller jeans is an excellent sign:-)

By the way, I loved the previous post about your daughter coloring President Obama as a white man. Kids are too funny! And your living room.....that reminds me so much of when my kids were younger and I would just let them play like crazy guys! Sometimes you just have to :-)

Air Popped Popcorn, with no butter natch! I'm getting used to the habit of eating fruit for dessert too.

Seriously - those fudgesicles are awesome. Though, not quite as good as a cupcake ;)

Wow, exercising 6 days a week?? Oh how I need to do this really bad. You're an inspiration.

You are doing all the right things. It will come, just keep working out. You don't have alot to lose, so it is not going to be quick.
As for a low cal snack, how about a greek yogurt (140 cals, but as good as dessert) or a low cal 60 cal yogurt in a smoothie with some frozen fruit. I make it with the stick blender. It is a bit of work, but tasty!

I could give you a ton of odeas for high calorie snacks, but that is for after may!!

The plateau week can be hard, but keep up what you're doing. This week should be better. Congrats on the smaller jeans!! That's a great accomplishment in itself.
