Do you Wii??

About a year ago we got a Wii. MissyMiss and Daddy LOVE to play it. MissyMiss gets to stay up later than Bubby on the weekends and loves to curl up on the couch with Daddy and the Wii during this time.

I was never very into it....until.....

Daddy just bought Tetris...ugh! I usually do not enjoy video games at all...but I LOVE Tetris. It is just so addicting for me. The version he bought allows you to play head-to-head with someone in a Battle Royale. Now, not only do I love Tetris, but Hubby and I are very competitive with games. We used to play Scrabble together, but it just got too intense...neither of us can bear losing to the other one.

To prove how competitive we are, we once had an argument about IQ and both took a home IQ test to settle it. Despite the fact that I am often lacking in the common sense department, I have a really high IQ...like almost high enough to be in Mensa.

Once hubby heard me say "Let's play it by year" (instead of "ear") and "for all intensive purposes" (instead of all intents and purposes), he figured no way could I be telling the truth. My IQ determined by the home test was the exact same number I hold told him I scored back in elementary school. He was in disbelief. After some more of my common sense mishaps, he still seems to doubt the results. I know I proved him wrong with that one.

But...I just cannot beat him at this Tetris game
. It is DRIVING ME NUTS!!!

We don't have a Wii and I have never played one. We have an XBOX 360 and I am somewhat intrigued by the Rock Band Game.

I have a friend that has Wii Fit, but she (and others) say that it is not really a workout. I kinda figured that was the case!

Have fun with your Tetris:-)

I really want a Wii . . . it was on my Christmas list with the Garmin, and I'm glad I got the Garmin -- but I would still like a Wii. Maybe next year!

My girls (age 6 and 8) love the Wii and I enjoy watching them and joining in now and then.

Just a few days ago I got the xbox360, which we ALL love. It's great family fun.

Secretly play when he is at work (if you can) so that you can beat him. My daughter had a Wii but sold it and got Rock Band, which her and her boyfriend like more. I tried her Wii and I love boxing (that was a work out) and bowling, but I sucked at baseball, golf and tennis I didn't even bother trying.

How is the running and weight lose going? I really admire your dedication, I wished you lived by me and could push me to get out there. I never like to do stuff myself, I need the motivation of a partner and husband is as bad (or worse) than me. LOL

I could have wrote this myself :) Years and years ago (like 10+) my hubby used to play an old-school version of Tetris on his computer. He played it all the time. I could never get into it.

Ffwd to today where I have a Tetris applicaion on my iPhone. When Brooke naps, I play Tetris. I play all the time, and my hubby picked up my phone ONCE and tripled my highest score. Now I play with the dream of beating him, but I truly think its not possible.

I also am much more intelligent than he is ;)

Mensa is highly overrated :-)

Don't worry, Sarah! You'll beat him eventually! M wants a Wii so badly. He was supposed to be saving up for it, but he kept spending his money rather than save it. Now his Gram hold his money for him so he doesn't have access to it. Eventually, he'll get enough saved up.
