Trick or treat, smell my feet....

That song has been in my head all day. Missymiss picked it up on the playground and has been singing it and now I have been singing it all day too. It is annoying, but I guess that are much worse things that can be learned on the playground...

The kids are so ready for tomorrow. We had a trial run this week. My favorite local grocery store did trick-or-treating through the store one evening this past week and it was such fun! At the entrance to the store we got empty goodie bags and a map of the store noting the location of each spot where treats were given out. Some of the departments gave out department-specific items, such as an apple at produce, cookie at the bakery, etc. Others gave out good old-fashioned candy.

The kids loved it. This year MissyMiss is going as a hula dancer and Bubby is Thomas the Tank Engine. Hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween!!

What fun. I love it!! Your daughter is a real cutie and your son looks totally silly!! I love it when the kids put on a costume like Thomas the Tank engine and think the costume works! That is too cute!

My youngest is 12 and is at that age where the trick or treating is ending. He is going this year -reluctantly. I am going to miss it.

Sarah, believe it or not, someday the trick or treating will end and Santa Claus will end and the Easter Bunny will hop away into the sunset.

I don't have to tell you to cherish it all, because you obviously do. I'm not sure what I am trying to say. Maybe I should just say that I want some of that.

I guess now I have to wait for Grandkids? I guess I can wait for that! ;-)

Have fun, and keep those kiddie pics coming.

They look so cute and what a nice idea your grocery store did. I have been hearing about a lot of churches doing Trick or Trunk, have you? It is a great idea.

Our neighbor has a bunch of us over with all our candy and he provides hot dogs to anyone who comes by and wants one, whether parent or child and the kids can do one stop Trick or Treating. We usually have about 4-5 families there giving out treats and it is also is a great time for us adult neighbors to see each other.

Hope your kids have tons of fun tonight and be safe going out there.

Cute! My daughter loved Thomas! Last week we got out her old train set for some visiting little boys and she has been playing with it all week! At 11, it is all about building cool track layouts, but it is fun to see her still enjoying them :-)
