Really Easy Bar Cookies

If you are looking for a really simple, but delicious, bar cookie...here it is! These are Paula Dean's 5-Layer Bars. They only take minutes to put together, but are sooo yummy!

The picture below is them on a platter at my Tupperware party...they are on the right.

Here are the ones I made and froze for Christmas. Please excuse the upper right corner...I had to try them!

Here is the recipe!

Five-Layer Bars
Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 stick salted butter, melted
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup shredded coconut
1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
Method:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Press into the bottom of a 13X9 pan. Sprinkle pecans, chips and coconut on top. Pour sweetened condensed milk over the mixture and bake for 30 minutes.
3. Cool completely and cut into bars.

See? Super Simple!

Why does every bar cookie have coconut? I hate coconut!!! I want to make a coconutless bar cookie :)
